PROCESSING NOTES
All remains have been catalogued and stored according to Emergency Protocol 7. Biometric data recorded where possible. Personal effects secured and inventoried. Due to communication network disruption, next of kin notification remains pending for majority of cases.
Temporary Processing Center continues to operate at maximum capacity. Additional personnel requested. Current projection indicates processing backlog of 4-6 weeks given available resources and ongoing bombardment conditions.
Weather conditions remain hazardous. Atmospheric contamination levels elevated across entire region. Radiation levels stable but above safe thresholds in Zones 4, 7, and 11.
Morale among processing personnel is deteriorating. Recommend rotation schedule implementation. Counseling services remain inadequate given scope of operations.
This is the forty-seventh such report filed from TPC-Denver since operations began on 12 February. Total casualties processed to date: 6,814 individuals. Estimated casualties awaiting processing: 12,000-15,000.
The numbers continue to grow.

Author’s Note: This report represents one of thousands filed during the chaotic weeks following the Vethrak invasion. Casualty Affairs Division personnel worked under impossible conditions, processing the dead while bombardment continued overhead. Lieutenant Commander Morrison filed 73 such reports before TPC-Denver was evacuated on 3 March, Year 0. He survived the war and later became Director of the Naval Memorial Archive, ensuring that names like Captain Sutton, Chief Valdez, and Master Sergeant Nkosi would never be forgotten. The temporary processing centers documented over 400,000 military and civilian casualties in the first month alone. The final count would reach eleven billion.
